About Dr. Tayim
Dr. Fadi M. Tayim is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in adult neurocognitive assessment across neurological, medical, and forensic contexts. His work integrates advanced training in brain imaging, academic medicine, and surgical brain mapping to deliver precise, evidence-based evaluation for the most complex cases.
Dr. Tayim completed his doctoral (PhD) training in clinical psychology with a neuropsychology emphasis at Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, followed by advanced clinical neuropsychology residency and fellowship training at Dartmouth Medical School. His PhD dissertation research at Stanford University School of Medicine focused on functional neuroimaging and executive functioning in Parkinson’s disease, incorporating high-field MRI and translational cognitive neuroscience methodologies.
Since 2015, Dr. Tayim has served as Director of the Premier Health Brain Mapping Center and Director of Neuropsychology and Neurosurgical Mapping within the Clinical Neuroscience Institute. He established the region’s first intra- and extra-operative brain mapping services, and presurgical neurocognitive protocols integrating DTI and functional MRI for epilepsy and neuro-oncology cases.
In addition to his clinical and forensic practice, Dr. Tayim collaborates with the University of Dayton’s Brain Health Collective, contributing to research, education, and community engagement initiatives focused on traumatic brain injury and cognitive health. He serves in academic appointments with Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine and regularly lectures on neurocognitive assessment, brain mapping, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in medicine.
